New chair for NACB

Peter Allen, MD of Aubrey Allen, is the new chairman of the National Association of Catering Butchers (NACB).

He replaces Nigel Tottman of Nigel Fredericks, who held the post for 10 years.

Allen said: “NACB members are very grateful for all Nigel’s work and commitment, as he led us through many turbulent times in our industry. I am honoured to take on the position and look forward to working not only with our members, but also with other associations in the industry.”
Allen added that the meat industry faced a number of critical pressures: “We need to work together to ensure continued success for our industry.”

Aubrey Allen was established by his father more than 70 years ago and is well-known in the Midlands and throughout the UK.
