In the UTalkMarketing People's Choice poll, the 'From Wales, Naturally' campaign came top of a poll of 1000 people as the best ad of the week.

Narrated by actor Matthew Rhys, the advert was handled by London-based Golley Slater Advertising and was filmed on the rain-lashed Brecon Beacons.

Golley Slater Advertising group managing director Mike Leeson said: "To ensure that it rained on cue, Stuart Rideout, from London production company Ridley Scott Associates, brought in movie rain machines rather than relying on the notoriously unpredictable local weather."

The advert received 31% of the votes beating the likes of Marks & Spencer's 'Fashion Fairground' campaign.

Leeson added: "Filming on location in Wales is always a challenge and the unique micro-climate of the Brecon Beacons meant dealing with low cloud levels which obscured visibility.

"Fortunately the combination of the right technology with a world-class director has resulted in some stunning footage of the outstanding Welsh countryside."

Press advertisements have also run in national publications such as Observer Food Monthly, Delicious, BBC Good Food and Waitrose Food Illustrated.
