Tom Kirwan, managing director of ABP UK, said: “This is an important milestone in the development of ABP UK, augmenting its beef supply in the cattle rich South West region of England and giving the business a platform in lamb to further develop its existing lamb processing activity in Northern Ireland.”

Graham Heffer added: “The sale of RWM was taken after much consideration by the family who had invested 40 years into growing and developing the business that prides itself on quality and customer service.  I am sure ABP UK will embrace the RWM ethos and help the business develop even further.  I would like to thank our staff, customers, suppliers and farmers for their dedication and loyalty on behalf of the entire family.”
