Co-op staff featured in ad
Co-operative Group store supervisor Madeleine Bowers and Somerfield checkout operator Tomieka Shiell are fronting a new national TV campaign for the merged food group.
The dual-branded advert will underline how The Co-operative’s acquisition of Somerfield has led to better deals across both chains.
Since the £1.6bn acquisition of Somerfield last March, The Co-operative has been phasing Co-operative brand products into Somerfield stores, with the Somerfield brand due to disappear by the end of 2011.
