Lorry drivers offered cash for washing

Abattoir lorry wash users have the chance to get some early Christmas cheer by taking part in a survey of facilities.

Bpex is offering them the chance to win £50 by completing a simple assessment sheet, which aims to decrease the risk of disease transmission within the industry – focusing on abattoir lorry wash facilities.

All lorry wash users who submit contact details with their assessment sheet will be entered into a draw for the cash. Survey information will be collated and fed back to both the abattoirs and the Bpex pig task force committee to identify where improvements can be made and how the industry can address those areas.
