Chart your way to protection
Hand protection expert Marigold Industrial has created what is believed to be the first-ever Chemical Permeation Chart for disposable gloves.
This reference tool is aimed at any firm where staff need hand protection for working with chemicals and that needs to know what levels of protection disposable gloves will offer.
The chart is suitable for those working in sectors such as food processing and provides essential information on the levels of contact time protection the Marigold Industrial disposable gloves provide against 96 common workplace chemicals.
The chart uses a number rating from zero to six to highlight specific glove performance against the listed chemicals. A glove with a score of six provides permeation protection of over eight hours, while a glove with a score of zero provides protection of less than 10 minutes and should therefore not be used with particular chemicals.
