Aubrey Allen boss new chairman of NACB
The managing director of Leamington Spa butcher Aubrey Allen has been appointed the new chairman of the National Association of Catering Butchers (NACB).
Peter Allen will replace Nigal Tottman of Nigel Fredericks, who has held the post since 1999. He will work alongside Richard Taylor, managing director of Owen Taylor, who has been appointed marketing director of the association.
Allen said: “Nigel held the post for 10 years and NACB members are very grateful for all his work and commitment as he led us through many turbulent times in our industry.
“Richard and I look forward to working not only with our members but also with other associations in the industry. The meat industry yet again faces a number of critical pressures and we need to work together to ensure continued success for our industry. We welcome more new members to join and drive forward the standards for catering butchers”.
