Aubrey Allen wins gold

Leamington Spa-based Aubrey Allen has walked away with Great Taste Awards for two of its dishes.

The company was awarded two one-star Gold Great Taste Awards at a ceremony held at department store Fortnum & Mason's for its Moroccan Lamb Tagine and Cous Cous and for its Aberdeenshire Beef Chipsteak, Chilli and Garlic.

Aubrey Allen's Russell Allen said: "It's always a pleasure to have your food and hard work recognised, and the Great Taste Awards recognise the craft and dedication that goes into making superb food and drink."
The Great Taste Awards, which is organised by the Guild of Fine Food, is now in its 16th year and event organisers have said it is going from strength to strength.
