Stephen Rossides has been appointed the new director of the British Meat Processors Association (BMPA). He replaces Stuart Roberts, who steps down to join beef processor ABP at the end of the month.

Stephen Rossides has been appointed the new director of the British Meat Processors Association (BMPA).
Rossides joins the organisation from the Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board, where he has been the head of the economic and policy analysis group covering the red meat sector, with responsibility for a wide range of work including livestock market intelligence, economic studies of the meat industry, and government relations.
Rossides, who will join the BMPA later this year, said: “I am delighted to be taking up this important role, and I look forward to working with the BMPA Council, members and all those associated with the meat industry.”
Mark Adams, president of the BMPA, said, “Stephen’s appointment as director is excellent. His experience and knowledge will help to lead the BMPA and our members in addressing the key challenges facing our industry. I very much look forward to working with him and introducing him to our members.”
