Mirra to market
Italian manufacturer of specialist foodservice equipment Sirman has appointed Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) as its main distributor in the UK and Ireland.
The Mirra range of slicers is one of the new lines launched by FEM under the Sirman brand. The gravity feed slicers, which can be used for meat, are said to be robustly built and easy to clean. Safety features include a permanent blade rim guard and emergency stop button, with a fast and precisely adjustable slicing mechanism.
FEM sales director Jim Doherty said: "We will ensure that Sirman products are available ex-stock to customers throughout the UK and Ireland. The Sirman brand represents quality and reliability, while FEM provides fast order fulfilment and a comprehensive after-sales support package."
The new agreement will see FEM distributing Sirman's full range, including slicing machines, mincers, bowl cutters, blast chillers, convection ovens and display cabinets.
