Mark Brooke, from butcher Boxley's of Wombourne, south of Wolverhampton, talks about the sweet and pickled extras sold in-store. Boxley's is a Q Guild member and Mark owns the shop alongside Adrian Jackson. They trace all their products from farm to shop.

"We buy in cakes from companies such as Julie's Cakes. We sell lemon drizzle, coffee and walnut, chocolate cake and Swiss rolls. We have used Julie's Cakes for a couple of years now and the new line, such as the Swiss rolls, has come in this year. We also sometimes sell jams and pickles - pickled onions, which sell quite well at Christmas time, pickled cabbage and pickled eggs."

Boxley's also sells cold-eating pies, such as Old English Pork Pie, Turkey, Ham & Leek and Pork & Leek, while its hot-eating pies range includes Steak & Kidney.
