 - Published:  26 August, 2009

The Meat Hygiene Service (MHS) has announced it is to trial a series of meetings giving the chance for business operators to meet with management.

The new ‘Working Together’ initiatives will give Food Business Operators (FBOs) the opportunity to meet with the MHS senior managers at local level.

A cross-section of FBOs will be invited and the meetings will encourage a free exchange of views on both sides. If successful, the MHS added it plans to hold these meeting quarterly.

The trial meetings will be held on 4 September (Friday) at the Derbyshire Hotel, South Normanton, Derbyshire and 25 September (Friday) at the Almondsbury Interchange Hotel, Bristol.
