Calling all Champions

Competition for this year’s title looks set to be as fierce as ever, with some strong entries already registered and a month still to go before the final deadline.

MTJ editor Ed Bedington said: “Champion of Champions has attracted an extremely high standard of entries in the past and its seems that this year will be no different. Some strong contenders have already been submitted and we expect many more to follow.”

Champions of Champions is also is usually covered in trade and regional press, providing all entrants with a great PR opportunity. Previous winners have enjoyed considerable increases in sausage sales following the competition.

“Champion of Champions is a prestigious award and previous winners have reported extra business as a result of their success,” said Bedington. “Anyone who has won an overall event for their sausage is now eligible to enter Champion of Champions, so if you think your award-winning sausage is the best in the UK, get in touch!”
