Packing them in

 - Published:  07 August, 2009

Traditional maker of shortbread, oatcakes and biscuits Paterson Arran of Livingston is offering new packs to display for convenience and impulse-buying.

The range includes shortbread fingers, shortbread petticoat tails, shortbread shortie and triangle oatcakes.

The shortbread fingers come in cases of 18, while the petticoat tails, shortie and triangle oatcakes are available in cases of 12. Individual packs are offered, either with or without a price mark (except the shortie). Paterson's shortbread is said to be made using time-honoured traditions, but uses a new recipe that is palm oil-free and lower in saturated fat, making it a healthier option than other shortbread products on the market the company added.

The range comes in 150g packs, except for the shortie at 270g, and retails at 49p for the fingers to 99p for the shortie.
