Nougat bars sell well

Butchers wanting to offer their customers something different should look to South Africa, where Walters Handmade Honey Nougat has been going down a storm in butchers' shops, according to UK distributor Highgrove Fine Foods.
The nougat, produced to a secret family recipe in South Africa, comes in 55g snack bars. Two flavours - Almond & Cranberry and Macadamia - are offered. They come with a counter-top display unit that can contain up to 20 bars. The nougat is made with roasted nuts with no gelatine, preservatives or artificial colourings. .
