Wogan Wakes up with Sausages
Terry Wogan was treated to a plate of sausages courtesy of MTJ's Champion of Champions, in a bid to raise awareness of National Butchers Week.
Terry Wogan was treated to a plate of sausages courtesy of MTJ's Champion of Champions winner, in a bid to raise awareness of National Butchers Week.
MTJ sent the sausages, supplied by Michael Bachyk of Michael Kirk in Wolverhampton, to Wogan's morning radio show on Wednesday (12 March). Wogan was delighted with the "snorkers" and reportedly polished off two before asking the plate to be removed so he didn't eat them all.
The rest of the bangers were eaten by Wogan's crew and the presenter mentioned National Butcher's Week on air, saying he had the tasty sausages to prove it.
