Farmers Michael and Clare Marriage started in the organic trade in 1978 with organic wheat, selling wholemeal flours to health-food stores and specialist bakeries.
The couple formed Doves Farm, which now sells a range of ready-to-eat snacks, including Fairtrade Belgian Chocolate Waffles, 20% of which are made from Fairtrade ingredients, including the dark chocolate, the cane sugar and the invert sugar syrup.
The chocolate waffles can be gently warmed in the oven until the chocolate starts to melt and then can be served with crème fraîche.
