BPEX pays tribute to departing colleague
Bpex bosses have paid tribute to former colleague Mark Wilson, who has taken up a new post at Vion.
Wilson, who joined Bpex as director of pig industry development, established the organisation’s Knowledge Transfer team and was the driving force behind the PCV2 research project.
Bpex chairman, Stuart Houston, said: “Mark has had a huge impact on the industry through his hard work setting up the knowledge transfer team.
“He has also been instrumental in refocusing BPEX activity into projects and research which have had a real impact on individual businesses in the areas of meat quality, environment and competitiveness.”
BPEX Director Mick Sloyan added: “Mark has worked tirelessly for the pig industry which owes him a debt of gratitude for all he has achieved in the time he has been with BPEX. His work brought real benefits to the industry.”
Wilson is moving on to become agricultural director of VION.
