Bernard Matthews cuts staff hours
- Published: 15 June, 2009
Bernard Matthews has temporarily cut back the hours of employees at its processing plant at Great Witchingham, Norfolk.
The 500 staff at the cooked meat plant will work one day less per week for the next three weeks.
In a statement the company said the measure was taken because of “short-term seasonal promotional demand”.
A company spokesman added that there were no plans for redundancies.
