Software firm becomes subsidiary to Bizerba
Weighing and labelling company Bizerba has announced it has acquired a controlling interest in software firm Niche Computer Systems following a 10-year partnership.
The acquisition of Niche brings a conclusion to a 12-month restructuring programme within Bizerba, which has seen the whole organisation and management structure become more streamlined.
Bizerba marketing communications manager Liesl Marchand said: “Having collaborated on many joint projects, combining Niche software and Bizerba hardware, this already well-established working partnership will now move forward as one, with the aim of building on existing market positions and penetrating industry sectors that have been traditionally less well-served by both companies.”
Niche was established 13 years ago to supply high-quality systems designed by people from within the food industry.
