York's only dairy ice cream manufacturer has collaborated with a fellow rural business to create a Yorkshire Lemon Curd Real Dairy Ice Cream.

Inspired by a recipe developed for the Queen and using lemon curd from Elvington's Bracken Hill Fine Foods, the ice cream is said to be deliciously creamy, but with a citrus twist, perfect for summer. Based in the village of Acaster Malbis, Yorvale uses local ingredients to achieve the creamy flavour, attributed to the fact that its dairy cows graze on lush Yorkshire grass.
