Pallet design to spring forward
Spring 2009 sees the launch of a new TC closed deck plastic pallet from Shropshire pallet-maker Craemer.
The Craemer TC Pallet is said to be a revolution in closed deck pallet design that will meet the highest hygiene demands of the food processing industry. The strong honeycomb-shaped internal construction is claimed to provide rigidity and strength that guarantees total integrity against the ingress of contaminants, such as liquid and bacteria.
Offering high racking and dynamic load capacities, the standard 1200mm x 1000mm pallet is available with three or five runners that are chamfered on all approach edges for easy access and removal of hand and electric pallet truck forks.
With a very high level of damage resistance and hygienic properties, Craemer said the TC pallet will complement its existing range of pallets.
Craemer said it was so confident the unique construction of the TC pallet will overcome many reservations experienced with existing conventional closed pallets that it was prepared to supply sample pallets, for evaluation handling the customers' own products.
