Waitrose deal for Debbie and Andrew

The company's Harrogate and Leek & Chedder sausags will be available Sheffield, Harrogate, Otley and Willerby branches of Waitrose from this month.

Waitrose pork, bacon and sausage buyer, Anna Lloyd, said “Debbie & Andrew’s is a strong brand whose quality and provenance is well-aligned with our stance on welfare. We are also very interested in the positive work they have been doing to bring British pork and pig farmers to the fore.”

The Debbie & Andrew’s launch into Waitrose will be supported with in-store sampling and recipe demonstrations with the he Harrogate and Leek & Cheddar 400g packs retailing for £2.59.

Andrew Keeble said: “Our sausages have a loyal following of customers who share our passion for good quality, ethically-sound food. Everything from provenance and traceability through to supplier relationships is core to our values and securing the Waitrose listing is a great endorsement of our efforts. We look forward to bringing our sausages to Waitrose customers.”
