Acetaia Dodi balsamic vinegar
|
If you thought balsamic vinegar was just something fancy to sprinkle over salads then you are very much mistaken. This elegant bottle of Riserva di Famiglia – Carmelina, from Acetaia Dodi, can also be used to season boiled meats and in a number of meat dishes.
The company even claims the vinegar can make an excellent evening drink when entertaining guests.
Named after the current company owner’s grandmother, Carmelina comes in a 40ml bottle and a decorative cardboard box. The firm is based between the cities of Parma and Bologna and the recipes and methods of making the balsamic vinegar have been passed down the generations.
