The Scottish Federation of Meat Traders Association (SFMTA) has announced the Scottish Meat Trades Fair will be held in May in Perth in a one-day event.

Organised by SFMTA on behalf of Scotland’s independent butchers, the fair will include the Scottish Master Competition for Haggis and Pork Sausage, the Meat Skills Competition and a golf simulator. SFMTA members services officer Bruce McCall said: “This is the first Trade Fair since May 2007. Since then, we have already received positive enquiries from new exhibitors for this year and space is expected to be at a premium.”
