Sprint ahead with Urschel
Cutting equipment expert Urschel showed several machinery items at Anuga FoodTec this year, including the company’s new Diversa-Cut Sprint Dicer, designed to cut up meat.
Able to easily switch from one type of cut to another, this latest and more compact Urschel cutting machine can accept a wide variety of meats. The Sprint Dicer produces a myriad of flat or crinkle slices, strip cuts and dices up to 1” (25.4mm).
Urschel said that processors can benefit from the machine’s combination of the built-in circular knife support assembly and the manageable weight of the cross-cut spindle, as well as a cost-saving, insertable slicing knife.
The Sprint’s output is claimed to give excellent quality cuts, thanks to a compact cutting zone that easily transfers product from one cutting component to the next.
The Sprint features across-the-line start and continuous operation for uninterrupted production and, for routine maintenance, all lubrication points are said to be easily accessible on the exterior of the machine.
