M&S faces another shareholder revolt

Marks & Spencer, which is gearing up to beat the big supermarket groups on the food price front, is moving towards another shareholder revolt over the extent of the power wielded by boss Stuart Rose

Institutional shareholders want Rose to split his role of executive chairman and chief executive and appoint a new senior independent director. There are growing concerns over the management of the business.
