New depot for Weddel Swift

The company said the state of the art, purpose built facility represents a significant investment in its operations in the South West of England, and in the meat trade.

A spokesman said: "Weddel Swift Distribution already offers an extensive product range that is second to none. Our new depot will allow us to enhance the quality and diversity of our product range with a particular emphasis on further developing, our relationships with regional suppliers."

Existing staff in Exeter will all transfer over to the new facility, which wil be managed by Simon Coupe.

To celebrate the opening of the depot the company will also be holding an Open Day on Sunday, 30 November.
