Tooth found in Tesco sausage

 - Published:  19 November, 2007

Tesco is reported to have launched an investigation after a 10-year-old boy found a tooth inside one of the retailer's sausages.

David Walker, of Cheltenham, was reported by the Daily Mail to have bit into the Tesco Value sausage and found a milk tooth.

The retailer told the paper: "We do take such incidents very seriously and would welcome the opportunity to carry out our own investigation with our supplier."

David's mother said she doubted her son would ever be able to eat sausages again.
