Banham Poultry Celebrates NVQ Success
Banham Poultry has recognised the hard work put in by its NVQ candidates during a presentation ceremony in Attleborough.
The presentation took place on 30 November at Banham's HQ. Banham's director, Dennis Foreman, handed certificates to the candidates, many of whom achieved first class qualifications.
Foreman said: "I'm really pleased to see these staff achieve so much. It's great for us as a business to have well trained staff and also for the individuals to receive a qualification that means a lot. I'm now keen to see more of our staff taking advantage of this great opportunity and will certainly encourage them to do so."
Kevin Bowman, of Poultec training, said: "The journey that some of these candidates have been on has been epic and the personal development that goes with it has been amazing. Each candidate has really progressed over the last 6 - 12 months and it has been nice to be a part of it".
Banham's NVQ programme is the result of a partnership between Banham Poultry and Poultec Training. Staff have the opportunity to work towards a variety of awards including poultry processing, IT, business administration, management and English language support.
