FARMERS' BEEF...
The calendar is helping to raise money for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution and Spitalfields City Farm, a teaching farm for children in London.
Farmers across Britain have been posing for the all-nude 2007 Farmer's Calendar covering their modesty with everything from a jackhammer to vegetables.
The calendar is helping to raise money for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution and Spitalfields City Farm, a teaching farm for children in London.
In a newspaper report, Bucklebury pig farmer David Riley, of New Barn Farm, and Mr October in the calendar, said posing for the cameras was "easier work than pig farming".
The farmer of 18 years was reported as saying: "My wife saw the calendar for sale at a local shop and the reality is sinking in now. But we are all the same underneath so it's no fuss."
The Farmers and Lady Farmers Calendars are available for £5.99 each at www.thefarmerscalendar.co.uk.
