 - Published:  24 August, 2006

Grampian Country Foods has been named Scotland's biggest private company for the fourth year in a row.

The company made £1.85bn last year despite closing six factories due to competition from European imports. The Sunday Times KPMG Top Track 100, which ranks UK firms by sales, placed Grampian 13th, but first in Scotland.
