RHM announces first half loss

RHM, the food processor, which returned to the stock market nearly five months ago, posted a pre tax loss of £58.3 million for the half year to 25 October 2005

on sales almost unchanged at £739 million. Sales of foodstuffs other than cakes, rose 3 per cent to £386 million with profits up over 20 per cent to £34.7 million.
