Gobbling up awards

Turkey Talk, of Balsall Common, near Coventry, has picked up its third award this year.

Managing director Rod Adlington collected the Food Chain Marketing Award for Turkey Talk's innovative packaging design and targeted marketing of poultry products, from Farm Business magazine at a House of Commons ceremony on 17 November.

Turkey Talk was singled out for formulating the distinctive black and gold Adlington branding and for designing a range of cardboard carry boxes for their quality, barn-reared turkeys and other birds.

Other high-profile award winners of the evening included Rick Stein, for being a champion of local produce. James Paice MP, shadow minister for agriculture, gave out the glass and bronze prizes.
