Bugs beware
A new range of hygiene control products for the poultry industry has been developed by Byotrol, the company which first developed technology to stop the spread of superbugs such as MRSA.
The products, sold under the Byosphere label, can tackle a wide range of micro-organisms including Listeria, Legionella, E.coli, Salmonella, S aureus and campylobacter and continues to be effective for up to seven days after use. The company claims its
technology is one to which organisms cannot develop a resistance and offers cleaning technology with extremely low levels of
toxicity, making it ideal for the food industry.
The firm is launching six products that cover handwashing, surface cleaning and floor cleaning.
