BDCI festival lunch postponed

The BDCI's festival lunch, scheduled for Monday, 31 March, has been called off.
Organisers said the lunch, which was to be held at Butcher's Hall to honour outgoing festival chairman Denis Clark of Towers Thompson, was being postponed.
The organiser said it was hoping to make a number of new announcements at the lunch on Monday, but needed more time.
It added that a new date for the event will be announced shortly.
Friends of the charity and from the meat industry will be welcome to attend the new date, and tickets can be applied for by contacting Harriet Erskine at the Worshipful Company of Butchers on 020 7600 4106.
