Origins of creed?

 - Published:  28 March, 2008

Not sure if this will ring a bell for anyone but I'm looking for the origins of the following quotation and was wondering if you knew anything about it?

"Thine is a task of blood

Discharge that task with mercy

Let thy victim know no pain

But let the sudden blow bring

death,

Such death as thou thyself

wouldst ask."

I've seen it described as something called 'The Slaughterman's Creed'. Any information anyone could provide would be of value.
