This new dynamic facility, which will work alongside MTJ and MTJ extra, features breaking news stories, an extensive news archive, events diary, opinion polls, the option to sign up for news alerts direct to your desktop and the latest job vacancies.

Web editor Nicci Piggott, comments: "Following the re-launch of MTJ and the launch of MTJ extra earlier this year, the meatinfo website adds to the William Reed portfolio to bring the meat industry an unrivalled news and information resource.

"We have some very exciting plans to extend the website offer even further in the future and will be bringing visitors daily prices from livestock and wholesale markets from across the UK and an industry forum facility soon."
