Sausage week kicks off

Today sees the start of British Sausage Week 2006 (30 October - 5th November) designed to provide a fun and lively way to promote sausage eating in the UK.

Now in its ninth year, the week has become a large event receiving a great deal of publicity, and hosting many organised events all over the country.

Tastes of Anglia is organising one such celebration of the British Banger by organising tastings of sausages using pork sourced from the regions producers. The event will include special offers and the launch of new and unusual ingredients for new sausage ranges.
