Scottish Tamworth's TV Debut
Tamworth pigs are to star in the second series of The Woman Who Ate Scotland.
Food writer and presenter Nell Nelson, who cycles round Scotland sampling regional foods, is to pay a visit to Castleton House Hotel in Angus to find out about the hotel's home-reared Tamworth pigs.
Head chef Andrew Wilkie said: "We are delighted to be appearing in Nell's new series.
"In the kitchen at Castleton we are passionate about using the best locally sourced produce from Angus and we are equally keen to reassure diners and guests about where their meat comes from.
"Our pigs are reared on the hotel grounds, alongside Jacob sheep, quails, chickens and we also have an extensive kitchen garden."
