Grampian sale speculation

Grampian has refused to comment on speculation that the group is up for sale.
Newspapers have reported, that the group which is the UK's largest meat processor has appointed corporate finance specialist Morgan Cazenove to handle the sale of the company.
A spokesman for Grampian told MTJ: "Grampian does not comment on rumour and speculation in the marketplace."
Last month Grampian revealed plans to close a chicken plant at Banff, with the likely loss 140 jobs.
