British people love a traditional Christmas dinner with a home cooked turkey despite the many other available options, according to research carried out by The Which? Good Food Guide.
The survey of 1,000 adults aged 16 or over, revealed that 92% of Christmas diners will be tucking into their festive dinner either at home, or someone else's, while only 4% will venture out to try thee Christmas fare of restaurants, hotels or pubs.
Almost two thirds (63%) will be having turkey for Christmas dinner. 10% plumping for other poultry such as chicken or goose, 9% for other roast meat such as pork or ham and 4% preferring a vegetarian alternative.
