More than 80 UK companies and livestock breed societies will descend en masse on the German city of Hanover later this month for the giant Eurotier livestock genetics show.

The UK will display on two pavilions - one in the pig hall and the second in the ruminant section - where live pigs, sheep and cattle will be on display showing what the country has to offer the world's livestock farmers.

During the four day show - November 14 to 17 - more than 110,000 visitors are expected to attend representing more than 100 countries. Jean-Pierre Garnier, MLC export manager, said: "We have never had so many UK companies join together to show the world the excellence of our livestock breeds."
