Burger gets a premium box
West country red-meat company Westaways has launched a new beef-burger package for the foodservice industry.
It consists of a new premium burger made from lean west country beef, packaged in an innovative durable and sustainable box.
The Westaways Premium Beef Burger contains no additives, colouring or artificial flavouring, with only salt and pepper added. The 5kg package is frozen, with a six-month shelf life.
The Westaways 'burger box' has a foil lining, which helps to keep the contents cool. A water resistant exterior coating to the box helps maintain the integrity of the packaging, which is re-usable, recyclable and biodegradable.
