Britain is expected to help lead an increase in gross production of cattle in the European Union (EU).

Britain is expected to help lead an increase in gross production of cattle in the European Union (EU), reversing a decline in slaughtered stock and live exports that has continued since 2003, said European Union (EU) statistical agency Eurostat. It predicts EU production will rise to 29.1m in 2006, up from 28.5m last year.
