Putting beef into schools

 - Published:  06 January, 2006

Pupils at a Cheshire girls' school are enjoying local beef sourced straight from the farm, after a supply deal was struck with Ken and Hilary Webb.

They are supplying Wilmslow Prep School with beef from their 120 Fresian Limousin crosses reared according to the RSPCA's Freedom Food Assurance scheme.

School catering manager Sue Taylor said she switched to the Webb's beef because of its certification.
