Broadland Hams Ltd of Norfolk scooped up the prestigious award Best

Speciality from Anglia for a bacon product at the recent Great Taste

Awards.

Broadland Hams Ltd of Norfolk scooped up the prestigious award 'Best Speciality from Anglia' for a bacon product at the recent Great Taste Awards held in London.

Edward Porter, managing director of Broadland Hams was presented with the award for its Traditional Unsmoked Back Bacon.The Great Taste Awards are organised by the Guild of Fine Food Retailers and form part of the Speciality and Fine Food Fair at Olympia, which showcases products from the UK and worldwide.

Julie West, deputy chief executive of Tastes of Anglia, presented the award, which Tastes of Anglia sponsored, and congratulated Edward Porter on this achievement. "This event has been a great success and we are pleased that so many producers from the eastern region have been recognised," she said.
