Randall Parker Foods fire

 - Published:  13 December, 2007

Up to 120 firefighters have spent the night dealing with a major fire at the Randall Parker Foods factory in northwest Hampshire.

Ten fire engines and crews were called to the facility near Andover shortly before midnight last night (Wednesday).

A fire spokesman said staff had been on site when fire broke out, but were all evacuated successfully. The cause is not thought to be deliberate, he added.

Reports suggest that up to 50% of the factory had been affected by the fire.
