New cases of foot and Mouth Disease in Vietnam

Fresh outbreaks of foot and mouth disease have been recorded in Vietnam in the latest in a series of outbreaks that has swept through the country, according to reports.

Reports state that central Thua Thien Hue province is the latest place affected, with 39 bulls and buffaloes infected.

Local vets have visited affected farms and vaccinated healthy cattle against the disease, reports state.

In January, it was reported that around 1,000 animals had been infected throughout the country.
