Four new members appointed to SEAC

Defra has appointed four new members to the Spongiform Encephalopathy Advisory Committee (SEAC).

Defra has appointed four new members to the Spongiform Encephalopathy Advisory Committee (SEAC).

The new members are: Professor John Collinge, Dr Azra Ghani, Dr Richard Knight and Dr Roland Salmon.

SEAC provides independent expert advice on all issues relating to Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSEs) including Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) and Creutzfeldt-Jakob's Disease CJD).
